Eliminating Delays When Requesting IRA & Other Death Claims

NCGPC is delighted to offer "Eliminating Delays When Requesting IRA & Other Death Claims," presented by Karen Smedley, Assistant Director Trust & Estate Administration, Duke University and Duke Health. In this virtual session, attendees will learn to identify the resources available to guide them through the obstacle course of IRA beneficiary payouts including the RIFT Database and the RIFT Advocates working group. Join the national effort for charities to create a united front to fight back against financial institutions holding charities hostage and have the tools to advocate for their own organizations on the both state level and national levels. We'll discuss the issues surrounding IRA Beneficiary payouts, why obstacles are erected by financial institutions, and how these obstacles impact your organization.
